Terms of Use and Limitation of Liability – EVEN APP

Even is a group payment management application developed by Gonzalo Alfonzo ("Even" or "the app"). The application is under development and is provided "AS IS", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Continuous availability, absolute accuracy of the data entered or generated, and full compatibility with all devices, operating systems, or browsers are not guaranteed. Use of the app is at the user's sole responsibility.

Under no circumstances shall Even, its developers, or associated providers be liable for:

• Loss or corruption of data generated, stored, or exported by the app.
• Interruptions, failures, response errors, or unavailability of the api.even.uy service.
• Errors, corruption, or incompatibility of generated files (for example, PDFs) produced by the application.
• Problems arising from slow, unstable, intermittent, or non-existent internet connections.
• Improper, negligent, fraudulent, or unauthorized use of the app by the user or third parties.

In any case, Even's maximum liability shall be limited to the value of any remuneration it may have received from the user, if applicable, and shall in no event extend to indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, or loss of profits.

Even is in beta. This means the software may contain errors, bugs, unexpected behavior, or functional changes without prior notice. The user acknowledges and accepts this experimental nature and waives any claim for liability for failures, temporary interruptions, or changes in the interface or calculation logic. The user should make periodic backups of their data and not rely exclusively on the app for highly critical tasks or tasks with financial, legal, or sensitive impact.

Part of Even's operation depends on third-party services, such as hosting providers, external APIs, third-party libraries (for example, Google Fonts), and other internet services. Even does not control, monitor, or guarantee the availability, accuracy, security, or operation of these services. Any failure, interruption, or error originating from these services is beyond Even's scope and shall not generate any liability for its developers.

The app is designed for personal or non-critical business use, as an aid in managing payments and group debts among friends, family, or teams. Its purpose is informational and supportive; it does not constitute financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice. Use of Even is expressly prohibited in the following contexts:

• Preparation or presentation of binding legal documents, contracts, deeds, titles, or any other formal legal instruments.
• Healthcare, medical, or health settings requiring a high level of legal or clinical precision.

The user acknowledges and accepts that, by using Even, they assume all risks associated with the interpretation and use of the information provided, and agree to verify it against professional and specialized sources when necessary.

By downloading, installing, or using Even, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms. If they do not agree with any of these clauses, the user must refrain from using the application.
